ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Anchorage police have finally released the incident report detailing the so-called "thrilla in Wasilla," the now infamous melee involving former Gov. Sarah Palin's family last month. The report from the Sept. 6 birthday party-turned-brawl confirms what many of the rumors suggested: Bristol Palin does indeed have a "strong right hook."

According to multiple witnesses interviewed by responding officers, the fighting seemed to break out when Bristol Palin and another female guest at a party exchanged angry words. The party's host, Korey Klingenmeyer got in between them, and Palin hit him several times the face.
The report describes both Bristol and Track Palin, the Palins' eldest son, as noticeably intoxicated. Bristol Palin told police Klingenmeyer called her a "slut," that someone had stolen her shoes and sunglasses, and that she had been dragged around on the grass by her feet.
"Korey said that he approached Bristol and got in her way, telling her that it was his house and party and that she was not going to start any fights and that she needed to leave. Korey said that Bristol immediately began to get angry with him and began yelling at him, questioning the fact that it was his house and threatening to knock him out as well. Korey said that he then told Bristol to leave again and that she began punching him in the face repeatedly, using both hands. Korey said that it did not knock him down but that it hurt and he grabbed Bristol's arm and held her back, pushing her down while holding her hand as she was attempting to strike him."
Another fight also appeared to have started when Track Palin threatened Klingenmeyer after a friend allegedly "sucker-punched" him from behind.
No charges were filed in the aftermath of the altercation.
The Palin family did not respond to the release of the report, but on Sept. 19, the former praised her daughter in a Facebook post, saying "my kids' defense of family makes my heart soar!"
