HAMDEN, Conn., Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Gov. Chris Christie, a lifelong New Jersey resident, trails Hillary Clinton by 10 percentage points in the state in a theoretical presidential matchup.
Clinton gets a big boost from the gender gap, the Quinnipiac University poll said. While Clinton trails Christie by 3 points among New Jersey men, she would get 56 percent of the female vote to 36 percent for Christie.
