PIKEVILLE, N.C., Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Deputies say a woman will not be charged in the shooting death of her brother after he threatened and appeared to begin harming their elderly father.
WITN reports that Wayne County deputies discovered the body of Glenn Neal Rowe, 50, when they responded to a domestic disturbance at 347 Rose Road in Pikeville on Friday night.

Glenn Rowe had been killed by a gunshot fired by his sister, 49-year-old Jenny Rowe of River Run Place. According to deputies, she had done so after Glenn Rowe allegedly began threatening and harming the two's 85-year-old father, and possibly Jenny Rowe herself.
Deputies say no charges will be pressed at this time.
