BLOOMING GROVE, Pa., Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Eric Matthew Frein, the man who allegedly shot two Pennsylvania state troopers last week was placed on the FBIs Most Wanted Fugitives List on Thursday.
The reward for the capture of Frein has been placed at $175,000.
He is accused of ambushing and killing state police Cpl. Bryon Dickson and injuring Trooper Alex Douglass on Friday at a barracks in Blooming Grove.
When law enforcement officers are violently targeted, we take it seriously -- and personally," said Edward J. Hanko, special agent in charge of the FBI's Philadelphia Division. "The FBI is committed to finding this suspect, keeping the public safe, and supporting our partners at the Pennsylvania State Police."
Frein was deemed a federal fugitive earlier Thursday, meaning federal resources would be available in the search for him.
