RENO, Nev., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Police in Reno, Nevada said 13 people were hurt Wednesday at the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum, when a chemical reaction caused what's being called a flash.

Nine of those people, including eight children were hospitalized for flash burns. Four people refused treatment.

Hospital officials said only one child is expected to stay overnight for observation and will likely be released tomorrow.

An investigation is underway to find out what caused the chemical flash.
