POCANTICO HILLS, N.Y., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and the kids got all dressed up Saturday to attend the wedding of their longtime chef Sam Kass to MSNBC host Alex Wagner.

Kass and Wagner were married at a farm-to-table restaurant called Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, N.Y.

The Obamas -- including Malia and Sasha -- left the White House all clad in black via Marine One earlier in the day.

Kass started as the Obamas' personal chef when the family lived in Chicago. He is the president's senior policy adviser for nutrition policy and serves as director of the first lady's Let's Move program.

Wagner hosts weekday program Now with Alex Wagner.
