OAK BLUFFS, Mass., Aug. 9 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama and his family arrived Saturday on Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts for a nearly two-week vacation.

The president, Michelle Obama, and their daughter, Malia, will be staying in a seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom home they rented near the Vineyard Sound.

The family is expected to remain on vacation at the rental home through Aug. 24, though Obama is scheduled to return to Washington Aug. 17-19 to attend meetings.

Upon arriving on Martha's Vineyard, the president immediately took in a game of golf at Farm Neck Golf Club in Oak Bluffs.
