FRANKLIN, Tenn., Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Former Saturday Night Live cast member and vocal Tea Party advocate Victoria Jackson lost her bid for a seat on the Williamson County Commission, placing third overall in the local Tennessee election.

Jackson, whom supporters backed because she was a "serious-minded person," received only 632 votes in the election, compared with opponents Judy Lynch Herbert and Betsy Hester, who received 1,422 and 1,380 votes, respectively. The top two candidates win seats on the Williamson County District 2 Commission.

Despite the loss, the comedian-turned far-right personality seemed unconcerned, as both candidates were sufficiently conservative for her liking and, "I don't really like numbers, and Commissioners mostly talk about numbers."

What Jackson is concerned about is that the two newly-elected local officials won't do enough to curb what she views as President Obama's covert socialist agenda, or, as she refers to it on her personal blog, "The big picture."

"My concern for Judy and Betsy is that they are not informed about Agenda 21 and Common Core and its ramifications on local government. The big picture. I think they've been living in the Williamson County bubble and are not aware that the Obama Administration and the fast-moving lunge toward socialism in our country has begun to erase our freedoms, even here. As their annoying constituent, I will try to share my knowledge and research with them, so they can make wise choices."
