OKLAHOMA CITY, July 28 (UPI) -- A Salt Lake City is attorney has filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the FBI, hoping to obtain security footage of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing in Oklahoma City.

Hearings will begin Monday as Jesse Trentadue attempts to obtain documents and video from the FBI's investigation into Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols' 1995 domestic terrorist attack that killed 168 people.

Conspiracy theorists have long discussed the possibility of a third co-conspirator as at one point authorities were reportedly searching for one.

Trentadue says his incarcerated brother Kenneth matched the description of the third potential perpetrator and this led to the convicted bank robber's mysterious hanging death in an Oklahoma City federal detention center in 1995. That death was ruled a suicide, but Trentadue says his brother was strangled with a set of plastic handcuffs during an interrogation gone awry.

"It may bring in some new light, but it's most likely going to raise more and more questions if we get the tapes," local attorney David Slane told Oklahoma News 9.

"Here we are almost 20 years later after the Murrah bombing and we still haven't turned these over, and I think this is what leads to the conspiracy theories, I think that if the government has the tapes, and a judge says turn them over, I think that it might answer things once and for all ... I think people need some closure to all this and not let it become the next John Kennedy assassination of trying to find a second shooter, Oklahomans deserve to know the answers."
