New Jersey festival features nearly 100 hot air balloons

Hot air balloons fill the sky at 32nd annual New Jersey Festival of Ballooning.

READINGTON, N.J., July 27 (UPI) -- Nearly 100 hot air balloons were launched this weekend as part of the 32nd annual New Jersey Festival of Ballooning.

The festival, held each year in Readington, is the largest of its kind in the United States.

In addition to hot air balloon rides, festival-goers enjoyed fireworks, amusement rides and musical performances by Joan Jett, Three Doors Down, America and Hot Chelle Rae.
