Fireworks cause fire after California baseball game

LANCASTER, Calif., July 6 (UPI) -- The outfield wall at The Hangar stadium in Lancaster, Calif., caught on fire Saturday due to a malfunctioning fireworks show after the Lancaster JetHawks minor league baseball game.

The team planned the fireworks show for fans after the game against Rancho Cucamonga, but things went awry.

The fireworks sparked a fire that caused damage to the stadium's outfield wall.
