WASHINGTON, June 12 (UPI) --Crew members on the U.S. Navy supercarrier, named for former President George H.W. Bush, came together in formation to celebrate his 90th birthday with a special display of discipline and military might.

Standing in formation on the landing strip of the USS George H.W. Bush, hundreds of crewmen posed with the armed planes they dock to spell out 41 equals 90.

The the crew color-coded the message by their responsibilities on the carrier. From left to right: Blue is the plane handlers, white is the medical personnel, yellow is the plane directors, red is the ordnance men and green is the maintenance personnel.

Former President Bush celebrated his birthday by skydiving from a helicopter, a lifelong passion since his time the U.S. Navy during World War II.
