Florida woman robs bank while on her cell phone

West Palm Beach authorities are looking for a woman who robbed a TD Bank while fake-chatting on her cell phone.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., June 11 (UPI) -- A Florida bank robber was pretending to be on her cell phone when she held up a TD Bank in West Palm Beach, Fla., on June 4.

Palm Beach authorities said that the woman, described as being in her early 20s, held her phone to her ear while she passed the bank teller a note asking for money.

Police also described the suspect as 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 tall. She fled the bank on foot.

Anyone with information has been asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
