TROUTDALE, Ore., June 10 (UPI) -- Police and SWAT teams have been called to a high school in Oregon, where a gunman is confirmed dead after opening opening fire on school grounds.
Shots were reported at Reynolds High School in Troutdale Tuesday morning prompting 30 to 40 law enforcement officials to descend upon school grounds. Police from other districts as well as the FBI have arrived on the scene, and the school remains locked down.

Parents and police told the Oregonian three shooters were involved, though two fled the scene. One shooter is confirmed dead on school grounds. Students have said the shooting began in a locker room. There are reportedly multiple injuries.
Local officials are expected to make a formal statement within an hour.
