COLUMBIA, S.C., June 9 (UPI) -- South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley took to Instagram on Monday to praise the state's new education-reform legislation.

"South Carolina made history this year by passing education reform. We will no longer educate children based on where they are born," she wrote.

But Haley's message took on an entirely different meaning when she tweeted the Instagram post, and it became subject to Twitter's 140-character limit.

The unlucky tweet was eventually deleted, but not before Twitter users spotted the slip up.
