In announcing the multiple orders, ATK said the ammunition to be delivered will be in a variety of calibers.
The contracts are worth a combined total of $186 million but the company did not specifically identify the customers.
"Partnering with our allies to help maintain their defense capabilities aligns directly with our core business competencies and international growth strategies," said Mike Kahn, senior vice president and president ATK Defense Group. "ATK is uniquely positioned within the defense industry to deliver these products and services, given the company's expertise in design and manufacturing of a wide variety of military munitions."
ATK said “certain ammunition production work” will at ATK-managed facilities in the United States, while ammunition services will be performed “on site at international customer facilities.”
Additional details of the contracts were not disclosed.
