RIVERSIDE, Pa., April 4 (UPI) -- Three brothers the age of 13 and under died early Friday in a fire that destroyed their Northumberland County, Pa., home.

Arthur Willis Dissinger, 2, Gavin Arthur Dissinger, 7, and Daniel Gage Dissinger, 13, were all pronounced dead on the scene at their house near Riverside, Pa.

Coroner James Kelley said the cause of death for the three boys was thermal injuries. The deaths were deemed accidental.

Within 25 minutes of the 911 call reporting the fire, the house had collapsed.

Inside the home at the time of the blaze were five members of the Dissinger family. A single woman and her six children had recently moved into the house.

Cheryl Latorre, the superintendent of the Danville Area School District, said letters were sent home Friday with students in the junior high and high schools to notify them of the incident.

“Our staff has come together like a family. We are here to support this family," she said. "The loss of a child is the most devastating thing. It’s been an extremely difficult time for everyone.”
