A Popeyes restaurant in Houston was robbed at gunpoint by three men who took off with thousands of dollars.
The robbery took place around 11 p.m. Thursday.

Witnesses said the three men drove up to the closed restaurant and threw a brick through a window. One man waited outside while two others went in with bandanas over their faces.
“They had pistols and were yelling ‘someone open the safe, open the safe!’ ” one of the workers told KHOU-TV, Houston.
The robbers left in a dark-colored Dodge Charger. No injuries were reported.
