It sounds as if President Obama and his family will once again be returning to Massachusetts to vacation on Martha’s Vineyard this summer.

According to the Martha’s Vineyard Times, White House officials are already planning a vacation for the president and his family. Although the dates are not set in stone, it is believed that the Obamas will be heading to the Island around Aug. 9, a little earlier in the summer than the First Family has visited in the past. The Cape Cod Times reports the Obamas will stay until the 23rd of the month.

Preparations for the trip begin early as a large number of Secret Service agents, White House staffers and support personnel will be along for the ride.

The only year that Obama and his family have not stayed on Martha’s Vineyard since he was elected was in 2012, when he was on the campaign trail seeking re-election.

While on vacation, the Obamas typically take bike rides, visit local restaurants and catch up on their reading.

The president also makes the most of the local golf courses.

It is unclear where on the island the Obamas will be staying.
