WASHINGTON, March 11 (UPI) -- U.S. President Obama Tuesday signs a bill making Point Arena-Stornetta Public Lands part of the California Coastal National Monument, the White House said.

The signing will take place in the Oval Office.

The daily schedule also indicates Obama will:

-- Receive the Presidential Daily Briefing.

-- Travel to New York for two political events, one for the Democratic National Committee and the other for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

-- Return to Washington.
