Nudist dad pleads not guilty to sharing naked photos of daughters

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Feb. 28 (UPI) -- A Florida judge has denied a motion by a nudist charged with child pornography to show the jury copies of the pictures with clothing added digitally.

Brian Martens, 53, entered a not guilty plea Thursday to charges that he shared pornographic photos of his daughters with other men, the (South Florida) Sun Sentinel reported.

Martens' lawyer, Daniel Eisenberg, brought in photos of naked women with and without clothing. He argued that doing the same thing to the photos Martens took would show they were not pornographic but just showed the girls engaged in normal activities at the Sunsport Family Naturist Resort in Loxahatchee Gardens.

U.S. District Judge Daniel Hurtley said the motion was "inventive" but digitally enhanced photos would not be legitimate evidence.
