CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Two children were shot to death in what investigators reported was an apparent drive-by shooting, Corpus Christi, Texas, police said Monday.

The shooting late Sunday took the lives of Lilly Anna Valent, 2, and Nevaeh Oliva, 6, who were inside a home that was riddled with gunfire, KRIS-TV, Corpus Christi, reported Monday.

Investigators said over a dozen bullet holes were found on the front and side of the home.

Witnesses said a person drove up to the home, left his vehicle and fired multiple rounds at the home before driving off.

Police have not made any arrests, or identified the relationship between the victims. They also have not determined a motive or mentioned whether adults were at home at the time of the shooting.
