Obama schedule for Friday, Feb.14

WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- President Obama speaks to House Democrats at their retreat and goes to California to discuss the U.S. response to the state's drought, his Friday schedule said.

The daily schedule indicated Obama will:

-- Speak at the House Democratic Issues Conference in Cambridge, Md.

-- Travel to the Fresno, Calif., area to discuss efforts to respond to the state's severe drought. Activities include participation in a roundtable with community leaders and touring a farm.

-- Travel to Rancho Mirage, Calif., to meet with Jordan's King Abdullah II at Sunnylands, the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Estate, to discuss strengthening the U.S.-Jordan strategic partnership and consult on regional developments.
