SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 12 (UPI) -- A Santa Clara County, Calif., grand jury indicted a man arrested two years ago in the kidnapping and killing of a girl, 15, court records said.

Antolin Garcia-Torres, 22, was indicted Tuesday for the 2012 crime, as well as for a series of violent attacks on three women in 2009, the Santa Clara County Attorney's Office said Tuesday.

Garcia-Torres was to be arraigned Thursday, the San Jose Mercury News reported. It added the case can move forward without a plea by Garcia-Torres, which his lawyers have delayed in numerous court appearances since his arrest in May 2012, two months after the disappearance of Sierra LaMar.
