Six hurt when three motorcycles crash in Miami

MIAMI, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Six motorcycle riders were injured Thursday afternoon when three motorcycles collided with an oncoming van pulling a trailer in Miami, authorities said.

The crash occurred at Southwest 100 Street and Krome Avenue, WBFS-TV, Miami, reported.

The TV station said the van driver said he tried to brake to avoid a car in front of him and served to the left, colliding with the motorcycles. One of the bikes caught fire.

The victims were taken to area hospitals. The extent of their injuries wasn't known.
