UConn student jailed for drug stash in dorm room

HARTFORD, Conn., Feb. 2 (UPI) -- University of Connecticut police said a student arrested over the weekend had $30,000 in drugs stashed in his dorm room.

Alexander Angeloff, 22, West Haven, was in jailed on $500,000 bond this weekend after being arrested for a cache of marijuana, heroin, LSD and other drugs allegedly found in his room.

The raid was part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking at UConn, the Hartford (Conn.) Courant said Sunday.

Angeloff will be arraigned on 14 counts Monday in Rockville Superior Court, police said.
