Widener University student shot, shooter at large

CHESTER, Pa., Jan. 21 (UPI) -- A student was shot about 8:45 p.m. EST at Widener University in Chester, Pa., Monday night. University officials said police had not caught the shooter.

The Delaware County Daily Times reported the universit4y said in a safety alert that the unidentified student was shot near the campus' Schwartz Athletic Complex.

The student was being treated at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. University officials asked students to stay inside until further notification.
