Arrest made in Christmas shooting in New Jersey

IRVINGTON, N.J., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- A 19-year-old wanted in a Christmas day shooting that killed three in a New Jersey bar was arrested Sunday in Florida, officials said.

Anthony Ambrose, the Essex County, N.J., prosecutor's chief of detectives, said Anthony Fields was arrested at his mother's home in Orlando without incident, the (New Jersey) Star-Ledger reported.

Fields is charged in the killing of Pierre Clervoyant, 34, Woodley Daniel, 32, and Mushir Cureton, 27, at Slick's Go-Go Bar in Irvington, N.J., early on Christmas morning, the Star-Ledger said. Two others were injured.

The report said Daniel was the club's bouncer, and had barred Fields from entering the club. Fields then allegedly opened fire moments later.

Ambrose said officials want to have Fields extradited to New Jersey.
