MEMPHIS, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- A Memphis woman was charged with child abuse Friday, a day after she reported her 7-week-old daughter missing.

Andrea Walker, 33, was arrested about 4 a.m., the (Memphis) Commercial Appeal reported. She faces two counts of aggravated child abuse and two of aggravated child neglect or endangerment.

Later Friday, the search resumed for Aniston Walker or her body, the newspaper said.

Walker, according to a police affidavit, said Thursday Aniston disappeared while she was taking a 5-year-old child to school. She admitted leaving the baby and a 3-year-old home alone.
