FRANKLIN, Ind., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- A woman who allegedly sliced a man's penis with a box cutter, after suspecting he molested her son, was arrested, Johnson County, Ind., sheriffs said.
Bonita Lynn Vela, 35, of Franklin, Ind., told police she was suspicious the unidentified man, 18, molested her son, 2, and added her suspicions developed after she smoked marijuana, the Indianapolis Star reported Tuesday.
The man, described in a police report as a boyfriend of a daughter of Vela's, denied the accusation and told police Vela had held him in her house trailer Saturday for over three hours. He said Vela was "out of control" and making threats against his life.
Vela told the man she "wanted to scar him so that he would look at it [the scar] every time he had sex" and initially poked at his penis with a fork before she found a box-cutter and "cut him deep," the police report said.
Vela was arrested on charges of battery with a deadly weapon and criminal confinement with a deadly weapon.
The man was taken to Johnson Memorial Hospital for treatment, the Star reported.
