Obama says down poll numbers not a big concern

WASHINGTON, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama acknowledged frustration Friday that many of his goals were not achieved but said the nation had made some progress in 2013.

Responding to a question at a White House news conference, the president suggested he is not concerned by polls indicating eroded public support for him and doubts about his trustworthiness.
