Storm threatens travel delays in Northeast

NEW YORK, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- A storm was targeting areas of the U.S. Northeast from Sunday into Monday, Accuweather.com reported Sunday.

The region was largely spared by Friday's snow and ice storm, but the new activity threatens travel delays and power outages, the report said.

Snow and ice made conditions slipper over much of Virginia to southern Pennsylvania Sunday.

Sunday night, wintry precipitation likely would cause travel delays from western Virginia to northern Pennsylvania, and from northern New Jersey to New York City to southern New England.
