Sanchez was wanted in the Nov. 20 shootings in the northwest corner of the county in which three people died and two others were injured. The Houston Chronicle said one of the wounded victims was on life support Friday.

Investigators said the victims were shot in the head while seated. Weapons and drugs were found in the apartment.

Sanchez was described as an ex-con with an arrest record stemming from his years as a juvenile, the newspaper said.
