Man falls from roof of Chicago airport terminal, dies

CHICAGO, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- A worker fell from the roof of a terminal at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport and was killed, officials said Thursday.

The man was part of a contractor crew on the roof of Terminal 5 when he fell, the Chicago Tribune reported. Paramedics responded and the unnamed man, 59, was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge in critical condition.

He was later pronounced dead, the Tribune said.

The name of the man's employer and other details were not immediately released.
