Authorities searching for woman who went overboard on cruise ship

HILO, Hawaii, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- The U.S. Coast Guard has joined the search for a woman who intentionally went overboard from a cruise ship north of Hawaii.

Witnesses told authorities that the 54-year-old woman intentionally jumped from the liner Grand Princess at about 1 p.m. Wednesday, CNN reported.

The ship's crew notified the Coast Guard and the FBI of the incident.

The Grand Princess was on the third day of a 15-day cruise from San Francisco to Hawaii. It was about 750 miles northeast of Hilo when the woman went overboard.
