School bus crash in Philadelphia sends 8 to hospital

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Eight children were hospitalized after a school bus and a truck collided Monday in the East Germantown section of Philadelphia, officials said.

Eleven students, ranging 6 to 12 years of age, were aboard the bus, the news website philly.com reported.

The eight students were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center as a precaution, police said. There were no reports of serious injury.
