Biden, 26, let her attorney speak for her when she was charged in Manhattan Criminal Court Tuesday with misdemeanor obstruction of government administration, resisting arrest and harassment with physical contact, the New York Daily News reported.
Biden allegedly struck a police officer attempting to break up a fight between her and her roommate on Sept. 17 at their apartment in the Tribeca section of Manhattan.
She allegedly continued struggling when she arrived at the precinct station house, with officers attempting to put her in a cell forced to pry her hands from the cell bars, the newspaper said.
Biden was ordered to return to court Dec. 17 if the charges are not resolved prior to that date.
