WOODSTOCK, Ga., Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Two Woodstock, Ga., high school students performed a sex act in the school cafeteria while another recorded it with his cellphone, students said.

The Cherokee County School District issued a statement saying two Etowah High School students "were charged with misdemeanor public indecency for an incident that occurred on Oct. 10," adding school disciplinary action would follow.

Students told WSB-TV, Atlanta, a male and female freshman were involved, mentioning their actions were hidden so even people at the next table were not aware of it.

"They stacked up a bunch of books and book bags, and people surrounded them so nobody would see," student Taylor Powell said.

One unidentified student added: "The guy who recorded it, he sent it to people, a lot [of people]."
