Lori Christensen, 50, could go to prison if she violates the terms of her probation, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported. Those include staying at least a mile away from her former neighbors in White Bear Lake.
Ramsey County District Judge Judith Tilsen made the two periods of probation consecutive, telling Christensen she must behave herself for the next 10 years.
"I have no intentions of going back to that neighborhood," Christensen said.
Christensen pleaded guilty earlier this year, admitting she videotaped her neighbors' house and car. She later tried to change the plea but was turned down.
She was also ordered to perform 50 hours of community service and pay a $200 fine.
Karen Kugler, an assistant Ramsey County district attorney, said the victims, the Hoffmans, rejected further legal proceedings that could have led to a longer sentence.
"They want it done," Kugler said. "They just want peace."
