School bus, tractor-trailer in accident, dozens injured

BEAR, Del., Oct. 10 (UPI) -- An accident involving a University of Delaware school bus and a tractor-trailer in Bear, Del., Thursday left dozens of people injured, police said.

Sgt. Paul Shavack of the Delaware State Police said 30 people were treated at the scene and another eight were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident in New Castle County happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Howell School and Summit Bridge roads, WPVI-TV, Philadelphia reported.
