Woman charged with murder of new husband in Glacier National Park

MISSOULA, Mont., Oct. 4 (UPI) -- A woman who said her new husband fell from a cliff in Glacier National Park in Montana is to appear in court Friday to face a murder charge.

A grand jury handed up an indictment Thursday against Jordan Linn Graham, 22, of Kalispell, Mont., NBC News reported. She was also charged with lying to investigators.

Cody Graham, 25, was killed in the fall on July 7, a week after he and Jordan were married. He was reported missing the next day when he did not come to work.

His wife said he had texted her saying he was going on a trip with some friends. A few days later she said she had discovered his body, saying she had decided to check out a rocky party of the park because "it was a place he had wanted to see before he died."

Graham is scheduled to appear before a U.S. magistrate in Missoula Friday afternoon. She has been staying with her parents since September, when she was released from custody after her lawyers convinced a court she is not a flight risk.
