CAMDEN, N.J., Sept. 25 (UPI) -- A New Jersey teenager who had been charged in the strangling death of a 12-year-old girl has been released from a youth corrections facility, officials say.
Dante Robinson, 17, was freed after pleading to fourth-degree obstruction, the South Jersey Times in Woodbury, N.J., reported Tuesday.
Robinson had been held in the Camden County Correction Facility since last fall. Judge Colleen Maier sentenced the teenager to six months in jail and released him with time served.
Chris Hoffner, Robinson's attorney, said his client "admitted no crime" with his plea.
Robinson and his brother, Justin, 15, were accused in the death of Autumn Pasquale in October 2012. Her body was found in a recycling bin on an abandoned property next to the Robinson home two days after she went missing.
Justin Robinson pleaded guilty last month to aggravated manslaughter in the girl's death, saying he acted alone in luring Autumn to his house and strangling her. He was sentenced to 17 years in state prison.
He will be eligible for parole in 14 years.
