Doctor indicted for alleged sexual assault

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- A Las Vegas doctor has been indicted for allegedly sexually assaulting a 68-year-old female patient.

Mane Shah was indicted Friday on one count each of sexual assault and attempted sexual assault and two counts of open or gross lewdness, the Las Vegas Sun reported.

He was released on $25,000 bail.

Shah was first arrested in the case in January. Police said he sexually assaulted the woman last year during a physical exam at North Vista Hospital.

Arraignment has been scheduled for Oct. 8.
