Randy Hoffman, 54, was driving on U.S. 68 about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday when he struck a bull standing in the road. Hoffman then lost control of the semi, struck an embankment and the truck rolled, The Toledo Blade said.
The bull belonged to the University of Findlay's animal science and pre-veterinary program, which used the animal for breeding purposes. School officials said it was unclear how the bull slipped his pen.
The investigation is ongoing.
