Itinerary of President Obama's Asia trip in October announced

WASHINGTON, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- The White House announced President Barack Obama's travel plans Friday for his trip to Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia and the Philippines in October.

Beginning Oct. 6, the president will attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in Indonesia, the U.S.-ASEAN Summit and the East Asia Summit in Brunei, and deliver the keynote address to the Global Entrepreneur Summit in Malaysia.

Obama will end his trip Oct. 12 in the Philippines, the White House said.
