11-year-old accused of making hit list of classmates

FREEHOLD, N.J., Sept. 12 (UPI) -- A fifth grader from New Jersey has been accused of making a hit list of classmates he wanted to harm, officials said.

The 11-year-old boy, whose name has not been released, has been charged with multiple offenses including harassment, causing false public alarm and making terroristic threats for allegedly making the hit list, NJ.com reported Thursday.

If convicted, the boy face up to two years probation, said prosecutor's office spokesman Charles Webster.

Wall Township Interim Superintendent Stephanie Bilenker sent a letter to parents earlier this month notifying them that the student made threats against several other students during the last school year.
