MIAMI, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Surveillance footage shows former NFL player Aaron Hernandez in a Boston nightclub with two men who were shot to death later that night, authorities said.

The videotape, from July 2012, shows Daniel Abreau, 29, and Safiro Furtado, 28, in the establishment. Both were killed when their car was struck by gunfire after leaving the nightclub, and a car similar to theirs was seized by police a year later when it was found during a search of a home owned by Hernandez' uncle, the Hartford (Conn.) Courant, reported Wednesday.

Hernandez, a former tight end with the New England Patriots, was charged with murder in June in the death of Odin Lloyd, nearly a year after Abreau and Furtado were killed.

Hernandez, who has also been accused of shooting a man in the face in an incident in Miami, requested a federal judge to delay the civil lawsuit stemming from the alleged incident, CNN reported Wednesday.

In the civil suit, Alexander Bradley of Connecticut charged Hernandez shot Bradley in February after the two fought at a Miami strip club. Bradley said he lost sight in one eye and is still receiving treatment.

In court papers, Hernandez said he couldn't defend himself in the civil suit while fighting murder and weapons charges stemming from the killing in June of Lloyd, CNN said.

Bradley testified before a grand jury investigating Lloyd's death, CNN said. While prosecutors haven't discussed his testimony, one of Bradley's lawyers claimed the grand jury likely wanted to tie Hernandez's alleged actions in Florida to Lloyd's death in Massachusetts.
