NEW YORK, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- A 1-year-old boy was fatally shot in the head in New York City Sunday night while being pushed in a stroller by his parents, police said.
The shooting occurred about 7 p.m. EDT as the family was crossing a street in the city's Brooklyn borough not far from where they live, The New York Times reported. The baby was pronounced dead later at an area hospital.

The child was identified as Antiq Hennis, the newspaper said.
Police said it was unclear who was the target of the gunman, who remained at large, the Times said.
