Okla. inmate claims he was forced to have sex '50 to 100' times

OKLAHOMA CITY, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- An inmate in an Oklahoma prison has sued the state's corrections department, claiming a case manager forced him to have sex with her dozens of times.

Philip Thomas Burris Jr. says the case manager, Kasey McDonald, forced him to have sex with her "50 to 100 times," The Oklahoman reported Sunday.

The federal lawsuit, filed Aug. 13, also claims McDonald gave the inmate cellphones and marijuana to sell in the prison.

McDonald, 38, is awaiting trial on charges of second-degree rape and bringing contraband into prison. She was arrested in June 2012 after a woman friend of Burris gave investigators secret cellphone recordings.

Court documents filed in her criminal case indicate and she and Burris had sex multiple times in offices at the prison in Lexington.

Burris, 25, was imprisoned at 18 after being convicted of attempted armed robbery and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Employees of the Lexington prison have now been charged with rape five times since 2008.
