Aug. 21, 2013 at 5:40 PM

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- The U.S. Secret Service says it has arrested two suspects on charges of using stolen personal data to rip off celebrities including Beyonce and Bill Gates.

The Secret Service said Kyah Green, 41, and Luis Flores, 19, who claims to be her son, used the information to steal money and credit cards from a roster of celebrities that also includes first lady Michele Obama, actor Tom Cruise and former FBI Director Robert Mueller, the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported Tuesday.

Tens of thousands of dollars in wire transfers were found in the suspects' apartment in Lake Mary, Fla., when they were arrested Aug. 7, the Secret Service said.

The suspects are accused of impersonating the celebrities in calls to credit card companies. Using the celebrities' personal information, the suspects are alleged to have changed the celebrities' addresses and phone numbers on the accounts and ordered replacement cards.

Green has been released while awaiting trial. Flores was being held without bail.
